Brief Description:
Footstep Power Generation is a technology that harnesses energy from the mechanical force generated by footsteps as people walk or move. This energy is typically captured through devices such as piezoelectric sensors or electromechanical systems embedded in floors, pathways, or other surfaces. When pressure is applied by a footstep, it generates electrical energy, which can be used to power small devices or contribute to larger energy systems.
This form of energy harvesting is particularly useful in environments with high foot traffic, like train stations, shopping malls, or airports, where it can provide a renewable source of power for lighting, sensors, or other low-energy applications. Footstep power generation is an innovative example of sustainable energy that taps into everyday human movement to produce clean electricity.
